Michelle Mackonochie is an American journalist who currently works at WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a morning anchor and reporter. Mackonochie became a member of the station in December 2020.
Michelle previously worked for WINK in South Florida as a co-anchor from 2018 to 2020. She worked at 47 ABC in Salisbury, Maryland, from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Mackonochie worked at WBKB in Alpena, MI from 2014 to 2015.
Mackonochie was honored by the Michigan Association of Public Broadcasters in 2014. Michelle completed her education at Ithaca College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science.
