Nate Rodgers Biography
Nate Rodgers is an American multimedia journalist who presently works as a correspondent reporter for FOX 32 WFLD news in Chicago, Illinois. He started working for FOX 32 in October of 2020. He had a childhood dream of reporting in his hometown. Rodgers terms it as a “blessing.”
The proud East Garfield Park native began his career in journalism at CBS Chicago’s Channel 2. Nate worked behind the scenes for nearly ten years as a desk (production) assistant, assignment editor, and field producer after starting as a college intern.
Rodgers formerly worked for television stations in Champaign, Illinois, Raleigh, North Carolina (as Fayetteville Bureau Chief), and New York City, where he covered current affairs and breaking news.
Among the notable jobs were significant coverage of Hurricane Matthew devastation, military events at Fort Bragg, Harvey Weinstein’s sexual assault trial, and the overwhelming number of COVID-19 deaths in New York City hospitals and funeral homes.
