Nick Jansen Biography
Nick Jansen is a renowned American meteorologist who currently serves as the chief meteorologist at KTTC Weather Authority since joining in June of 2019. Jansen received a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL (home of the Huskies) in May of 2015.
Nick began his career as the Weekend Meteorologist at WREX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rockford, IL. He later became the morning meteorologist for WEEK-TV, an NBC affiliate in Peoria, Illinois.
Nick and Angela have always called Illinois home. They grew up together in the Quad Cities and have been together since high school. The pair tied the knot in May of 2018 and are delighted to call Rochester home. They also have two adorable cats, Nala and Ava.
