Ralph Hipp Biography
Ralph Hipp is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and news anchor at WIBW-TV Kansas. He joined the station in April 1990. He discovered his passion for journalism at a very young age. Hipp saw that giving the news on television to people in his area was a crucial job. He attended the University of Florida where he got his Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting in 1975.
In April 1981, he joined WCJB-TV ABC as a News Anchor. While there, he anchored the 6 and 11 pm evening newscasts. However, after working here for 6 years, he left the station in March 1978.
In Late March of the same year, he joined KSPR-TV as a news anchor. He anchored the 6 and 10 evening newscasts. After 3 years he left the station in March 1990 for a position at WIBW-TV; Topeka, Kansas.
He joined his current station in April 1990 as a news anchor. Hipp anchors the 6 and 10 pm evening newscasts.
