Reggie Cecchini is a Canadian journalist who is currently working as a correspondent at Global News Washington Bureau. He joined Global News back in 2015 as a producer before being promoted to a correspondent in 2017. Reggie was made a correspondent for both Global News and Global National.
Since moving to D.C., he has covered everything from natural disasters to national protests. He has also covered two presidential elections, several state primaries, and the fast-paced changes that occurred throughout the four years of the Trump administration.
Before coming to Washington, he spent almost eight years with Global News Radio 640 Toronto, as a reporter and news anchor, with prior stops at radio stations in Toronto, and other states.
