Riki Lindhome Biography
Riki Lindhome is an American actress, comedian, and musician who starred as Dr. Valerie Kinbott in the Netflix series Wednesday (2022). Lindhome is also known as a singer and songwriter for the comedy folk duo Garfunkel and Oates.
Born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, she attended and graduated from Portville High School in 1997. She then attended Syracuse University where she majored in communications graduating in 2000. Without an agent, she started her acting career in minor roles on the sitcom Titus and in one season seven episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2002.
In 2003, she joined The Actors’ Gang and appeared in the play Embedded. She was even one of the four actors from the play to be cast in the 2004 film Million Dollar Baby. Furthermore, she appeared in the 2006 techno-horror film Pulse and in the 2008 crime drama film Changeling.
Riki moved on to glory and in 2015, she created the Comedy Central series Another Period alongside Natasha Leggero. The show premiered in 2015. In 2018, she guest starred as Shaina in an episode of Kidding. In October of the following year, she was featured in SoulPancake’s short documentary film Laughing Matters.
The following month, Riki appeared as part of the ensemble cast of the 2019 mystery film Knives Out. In addition, she began starring in the series Duncanville in February 2020, voicing the character Kimberly Harris. Recently, she starred as Dr. Valerie Kinbott, Wednesday Addam’s therapist, in the series Wednesday (2022).
