Ritesh Agarwal is among the youngest entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of OYO Hotels & Homes. He is one of the Indian Billionaire entrepreneurs and has the largest hotel network, with monthly revenue of $3.5 million and 1,500 employees. Ritesh made history in 2020 by becoming the world’s second-youngest self-made billionaire at 27 years old.
Agarwal was born in Bissam Cuttack and raised in Titilagarh. He completed primary school at Sacred Heart School before joining St.John Senior Secondary School in Bundi Road, Kota. Later after, he enrolled himself at a college in Delhi in 2011 but dropped out after being selected for the Thiel Fellowship in 2013. While still in college, he started a budget accommodation portal called Oravel Stays which was accepted in 2012.
