Rosemary Orozco is an American Emmy Award-winning meteorologist and news personality, presently working as a meteorologist at KTVU Fox 2 News in Oakland, California. She began working for the stations in January 2011. Orozco’s first option was law, but her interest in the news led her to pursue a career in broadcast journalism, after which she went on to study meteorology. Rosemary worked as a meteorologist at FOX 4O News in Sacramento before joining KTVU.
Orozco began his legal career as a paralegal after enrolling in law school. However, her interest in current affairs led her to abandon law school and pursue a degree in broadcast journalism at San Francisco State University, which she completed in 1998. She later returned to Mississippi State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in atmospheric science and meteorology.
Rosemary is an Emmy Award-winning television personality who works as a meteorologist for KTVU, the nation’s sixth-largest news organization. Every Saturday morning, she may be found on KTVU Mornings 2 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Additionally, from January 2008 thru January 2011, she worked as a meteorologist for FOX 4O News.
Rosemary also worked for the California State Lottery as a SuperLotto Plus Announcer from June 2009 to December 2010. From April 2000 thru December 2007, she worked as a TV news anchor and meteorologist at KEYT NewsChannel 3, KCOY NewsChannel 12, and KKFX My Fox 11.
