Ruthie Polinsky Biography
Ruthie Polinsky is an American journalist who currently works as a sports anchor and multimedia journalist at NBC6 South Florida (WTVJ). She covers all of the South Florida professional teams including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers, and Inter Miami.
Prior to arriving in South Florida, Polinsky was a sports anchor/reporter at WPRI in Providence, RI (2017 to 2020). She was also the weekend sports anchor at KFDX in Wichita Falls, TX (2015-2017).
Polinsky returned to The Mitten State after high school and graduated from the University of Michigan in May of 2015 with a dual degree in communications and drama. During her time in college, she returned home to St. Louis during her summers, spending three years working for the St. Louis Cardinals as a member of “Team Fredbird” and an in-stadium host.
In Wichita Falls, she covered the sports teams at Midwestern State, an NCAA Division II university, where she saw both football and men’s basketball win conference champions.
