Sam Kraemer is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter at FOX6 News in Milwaukee. He joined the station as a multimedia journalist in early 2020. In 6th grade in Franklin, the school selected Kraemer to anchor the daily newscasts. During that time, he was happy about the playground’s popularity. He immediately realized this would be his career henceforth.
He loves responsibility and looks for the truth that comes with journalism since then. He is happy to work at Fox6, the station his family watched growing up. Sam’s return to Wisconsin opened his eyes to life outside the Midwest. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he received a degree in professional journalism. He later started his career in 2016 as a general assignment reporter at KNBN-TV in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Moreover, Kraemer rose through the ranks to become the weekend anchor and reporter and then the main anchor. While there, he became one of the first reporters to join in on wildland firefighter training. This gave him access to the fire lines during the occurrence of some of the state’s most destructive fires. His reports also explored development in South Dakota’s historic towns and gave in-depth looks at crimes and others.
In addition, in 2018, Kraemer moved to KOAA-TV in Colorado to work as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Life there at the base of Pikes Peak was amazing, as was working there. He spent a year reporting on the Kelsey Berreth case, from the missing person report and a high-profile murder trial.
