Sara Welch Biography
Sara Welch is an American journalist currently working as an anchor for KTLA5 News in Los Angeles since joining the station in October 2011. Before joining KTLA, Sara was a reporter for the weekend evening news and reported weekday news on WTNH-Tv in New Haven Conn.
Welch graduated from Rutland High School with a bachelor’s degree in government and political science. She later joined Vermont University in 1986 and graduated in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Welch got her first television breakthrough in Alpena, Michigan which was the then second-lit TV advertising in the country. She worked her way up by means of a few markets including Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Albany, New York.
