Sasha Jones is an American journalist who is best known for helping consumers with their problems as a part of the NBC6 Responds team. Since joining the Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area, in May 2018, Jones has managed long-term visual projects with viewership on broadcast and digital platforms with local and national distribution. Moreover, she worked with global brands to broadcast crisis communication plans and statements.

Further, Jones also researched news leads, performed beat checks, followed up on developing stories and served at the WKFR 103.3 Cumulus Stations.

In September 2009, Jones joined Public Media Network as a Production Intern where she assisted in shooting and producing the coverage of city events, government meetings, and news. Sasha also produced a Regional Edward R. Murrow award-winning TV project on the 60th Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Death. She also broke the City Hall “Blacklist” which showed local activists on a city hall escort list leading to multiple federal lawsuits. Most notably, she is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists as well as the Kappa Alpha Sorority.
