Savannah Fish is an American journalist currently working at FOX 17 News, WXMI-TV, Grand Rapids, Michigan as a morning news anchor and reporter. Fish joined the station’s team in July of 2019.
Savannah is a Metro Detroit native who has spent most of her life in Michigan and later moved to Chicago and enrolled at DePaul University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations, and Communications in 2016.
Before joining Fox 17 News, Fish worked at 7 & 4 News Today WPBN/WGTU in Traverse City, Michigan. During her time at WPBN, Savannah served as a multimedia journalist and, later on, as a live morning reporter. Later on, she was promoted to be a fill-in anchor. Additionally, she covered everything from breaking news to the latest events happening in Northern Michigan communities, and severe weather. Despite that, Fish launched WPBN’s first weekly entertainment segment, “Morning Pop,” serving as both a host and producer.
While still at college, Savannah interned multiple internships, including one at WGN News, in the web and social media department for the morning news show, as well as a production assistant intern at Celeb TV, a news anchor, and a reporter at Good Day DePaul.
During Savannah’s free time, he enjoys lake life with her family and friends as well as exploring the city’s food scene.
