Shane Michael Gillis is an American stand-up comedian, radio personality, sketch comedy writer, and podcaster. He is well known for starring in and writing shows such as Tires Etc, New Muscle, and Dweck show. Michael is also a regular guest on Sirius XM and Faction Talk Radio’s The Bonfire. Additionally, he is also the co-host of Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast with fellow stand-up comedian Matt McCusker. Moreover, he was titled as a “New Face” at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
Shane was born and brought up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, United States. He completed his studies at Trinity High School in 2006 and afterward, he joined West Point for a year. After that, he enrolled at Elon University where he played football for a year, and finished his study at West Chester University. Shortly after graduation, he taught English in Spain for six months. His professional career began in 2012 when he regularly performed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
