Shea Sorenson Biography
Shea Sorenson is an American journalist who is currently working as a meteorologist at News 4 Tucson KVOA-TV since July 2019. Prior to this, she worked as a meteorologist at WATE 6 On Your Side from March 2017 to July 2019. Sorenson also worked as a morning weather anchor at ABC 57 WBND from September 2014 to March 2017. In addition, she was an intern at KVOA-TV from August 2013 to August 2014.
After her primary and high school education, she joined the University of Arizona in 2010 and went on to graduate and earn a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2014. From 2013 to 2017, she studied at Mississippi state university where she received her meteorology degree.
After graduating, she spent the summer as an intern at News 4 Tucson which familiarised her with Tucson. Later on, she spent a little over two years in South Bend, Ind forecasting thunderstorms, ice storms, and lake-effect snow. Before She came back to Tucson, she worked in Knoxville, Tenn.
