Sheri Falk Biography
Sheri Falk is an American Award-winning journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter at WVTM 13, in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to joining WVTM, Sheri spent five years as the weekday evening anchor and general assignment/health reporter for WDAM-TV, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Sheri got her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Lynn University in Boca Raton. In addition, she attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where she studied broadcasting and video production.
Falk then started her career behind the scenes in her hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, working as a traffic reporter for local radio stations. She also worked in the production department at WTVJ NBC 6 in Miramar, Florida.

Falk also covered the 2010Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and witnessed the 2012 execution of a 35-year-old man convicted of murder at the age of 18. Moreover, she covered the February 2013 tornado that ripped through the city.
