Shirleen Allicot is an American journalist currently working for WABC-TV Channel 7 as a co-anchor of Eyewitness News this morning and Eyewitness News at Noon. Before joining WABC, Allicot was the co-anchor of Action News at 4 on WPVI and Action News at 10 on WPHL in Philadelphia.
A native of Guyana, Queens, Shirleen graduated from the University of Hofstra, in Hempstead, Long Island with a degree in Broadcast journalism.
Shirleen started her broadcast carer as a news reporter at Bronx News. She later joined 6ABC Eyewitness News in 2010 where she is currently the co-anchor of Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon.
Moreover, Allicot has covered everything from Hurricane Sandy to the Boston Marathon Bombings to the deadly 2015 Amtrak derailment.
