Steve Daniels Biography
Steve Daniels is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist currently working as a news anchor for ABC11 since June 1999. Daniels anchors from the Breaking News Center, the coverage of Breaking News. In addition, he anchors the ABC11 Eyewitness News on weeknights at 10 pm, on CW22. Steve also co-anchors on weekdays at 5, 6, and 11 pm, on the ABC11 Eyewitness News.
Steve graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He currently works as an investigative reporter for ABC11 News. Before joining ABC11 News, Daniels worked for “Dateline NBC” as a correspondent. Steve interviewed newsmakers and reported stories for the national newsmagazine program all throughout the world, and the country as well. Steve has also shown up on CNBC, “NBC Nightly News”, “Today” show, and MSNBC.
Prior to joining Dateline NBC as a correspondent, Steve was at WTVJ in Miami. In Miami, Daniels worked as a Senior Investigative Reporter as well as an anchor weekdays from 5 to 5:30 pm.
Steve received 7 Emmys and several other national awards, while still in Miami. In addition, Daniels has been an anchor of the weekend news at KCNC in Denver.
In December 2007, news state legislation prohibited school bus drivers from using cell phones while driving.
