Susan Roesgen Biography
Susan Roesgen is an American journalist who works for WGNO-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, as an evening news anchor and reporter. In 2003, Roesgen became a member of the station’s staff. Susan also volunteers as an English instructor for the local immigrant population, and she holds an English as a Second Language credential.
She previously worked as a CNN correspondent in New Orleans and Chicago before joining WGNO-TV. During her stay there, she covered the raid on a polygamist cult in San Angelo, Michael Jackson’s death in Los Angeles, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s impeachment, and the devastation caused by floods in Fargo.
Roesgen earned an honorary Bachelor of Arts in English Literature degree from Montana State University in Bozeman in 1983. She is a licensed English instructor from Kenner, Louisiana’s Hispanic Resource Center.
