Suzi Perry is a British/ English TV presenter currently covering Grand Prix motorcycle racing/ MotoGP for BT Sport. She has also been a MotoGP correspondent for the British Broadcasting Corporation for 13 years. Suzi has also been on The Gadget Show on Channel 5 for 8 years and the BBC’s Formula One coverage for 2 years since 2013.
Perry went to Smestow School, Wolverhampton, England. She had a school job as a lighting technician at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre (The Grand), Lichfield Streer, Wolverhampton. Suzi later on went to study business studies and finance at Wolverhampton Polytechnic (University of Wolverhampton). She was also a model in Japan for 12 months immediately after she completed her graduation. Later on, she came back to Britain as an advertising model.
Suzi has been presenting in other sports-related programs like Wimbledon, the Boat Race, the London Marathon, Royal Ascot, and the Great North Run. She also helped in presenting the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She stepped down from presenting MotoGP coverage in February 2010, due to various health issues like viral meningitis and ectopic pregnancy.
Following her step-down, she was also part of the BBC presenting team at the 2010 Epsom Derby (Horse Race) and Royal Ascot. She was made an honorary Doctor of Engineering for Science services, technology, and work encouraging young entrepreneurs. She was also the original presenter of Live Elite League Speedway on Sky Sports.
