Tammy Bruce is an American radio host, bestselling author, Fox News contributor, and columnist for The Washington Times. She was elected president of the National Organisation for Women, Los Angeles Chapter, and performed her duties for seven years. Bruce’s radio show, The Tammy Bruce Show, is one of the most-streamed programs on TalkStreamLive.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Southern California.
She is an independent conservative and has supported several leaders including president Reagan and John McCain. In 2003, she was appointed as part of the elected Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s transition team. As a great supporter of Donald Trump, she believed that he was the best-elected president to bring an economic rival, due to his business experience.

However, in December 2018, she again appeared on Fox News to criticize the decision of one Scottish coffee shop to call “gingerbread men” “gingerbread people”.
She said, “Obviously, they’re men”. She characterized the decision by the coffee shop as “the tipping point” in policing free speech. Currently, she is a Fox News contributor, and in 2019, she became the host of Getting Tammy Bruce, which airs on the Fox Nation streaming service.
