Taylor Temby is an American journalist from Colorado, United States of America. She is currently famous for being the Sports Reporter and News Anchor for 9News in Denver, Colorado. Temby joined 9NEWS’s Sports department in Denver from September 2015 to 2019.

Temby attended the University of Colorado later working as a Sports Information Director at the same Institution upon her graduation. She further worked in the media relations office for the Colorado Avalanche.

Just like any other Coloradan, Taylor loves outdoor events; may it be running, skiing, hiking, or any other playing sport, she just likes being active. While growing, Taylor was a great supporter and fan of her brother as she accompanied him to every hockey tournament he played.

In September 2015, Taylor joined the 9News Sports department. In this institution, she worked for two years on the morning show, doing most of the tasks including reporting, filling in on traffic, producing, shooting, and editing.

This job wasn’t a heavy task for her as she had served as an intern in the 9News Sports department under the supervision of Drew Soicher and Rod Mackey. During this time, she was named the best Intern of the Decade for the 2000s basically because she showed up for her shift with freshly baked goods.

Before joining 9News, Taylor was working with KKCO 11 News in Grand Junction, Colo, an NBC affiliate as a weekend anchor. During her service there, she covered a number of national stories including, the Paige Birgfeld case, visits from President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and Paul Ryan, and The State’s deadly wildfires in 2012 to mention but a few.
