Tim Deegan Biography
Tim Deegan is an American Meteorologist who is currently working as a Chief Meteorologist at First Coast since joining the station in 1982. He broadcasts the weather during the weekday evening newscasts. Prior to joining First Coast News, he worked at KRIS in Corpus Christi, Texas, and KBTX in Bryan, Texas.
He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. The following year, Christi became a certified member of the American Meteorological Society. In 2005, he became one of the first 100 people to become an AMS-certified broadcaster.
Furthermore, he is well-known for his community involvement and especially for his interest in teaching kids about meteorology. When off his duties, he spends time working with his wife, on her foundation the Donna Foundation. The Donna Foundation is dedicated to helping those living with breast cancer.
