Titus Welliver is an American actor best known for his roles as Man in Black in Lost, Silas Adams in Deadwood, Jimmy O’Phelan in Sons of Anarchy, and the titular role in Bosch.
Welliver grew raised in the cities of Philadelphia and New York. Initially, he intended to pursue a profession as a painter, but he eventually decided to seek a career as an actor. For the first two seasons of the post-apocalyptic thriller The Last Ship, he played Thorwald, a local warlord fighting underground in a dying world plagued by a global disease.
Welliver stars as the title character in Amazon Studios’ TV series Bosch. The series is based on Michael Connelly’s novels featuring the same-named character. On February 13, 2015, Amazon Prime Video published the first season of the series. On February 13, 2020, the series was renewed for a seventh and final season.
