Tom Randles is an American journalist currently working as an anchor at WSMV-TV News 4. He won three of the television industry’s highest honors for his role in reporting on the Gatlinburg wildfires in the Great Smoky Mountains and also the tragic death of a Blue Angels pilot who died during rehearsal.
Regarding his education, Randles earned a bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television from Ball State University. Moreover, Tom is multi-organic. In 2013, Destination Music City, the 4th modern jazz CD was released. He also had the honor of playing Grand Ole Opry.
At the age of 6, Tom began playing guitar and singing. From an early age until his late teens, he performed in numerous bands with his brother. They shared the stage with major groups including Maze, Chi-Lites, Billy Preston, Parliament-Funkadelic among others.
