Vanessa Vinent is an accomplished American meteorologist who currently works as a weekend morning meteorologist for WPBF 25 News, an ABC station in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a member of WPBF 25’s Certified Most Accurate First Warning Weather team in South Florida.
Vinent has been fascinated by the weather since he was a child. She also admits to having a TV addiction to The Weather Channel and has always been fascinated by weather forecasting, especially storms. Her enthusiasm led her to specialize in South Florida’s unique weather patterns.
Vanessa is a Miami native who graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in geoscience and atmospheric science. She then worked as an intern at Miami’s WSVN News.
Vanessa also participated in a NASA/FIU hurricane and remote sensing research program. She was also a top performer in the forecasting competition ‘The WXChallenge.’ She is also a pianist and a visual artist.
