xQc Biography
Félix Lengyel better known as xQc or by his former screen name, xQcOW is a Canadian Twitch streamer, internet personality, and former professional Overwatch player. Félix is known for playing as a tank for Team Canada in the Overwatch World Cup and has also played other games such as League of Legends and StarCraft.
xQc was born and raised in Laval, Quebec, Canada. He started his own YouTube channel on March 2015. Felix started uploading videos consisting of lives stream highlights, compilations, and live-streamed personal Q&As. At the time he was only 19 years old. He later changed his name to ‘QC,’ which stands for ‘Quebec.’ After the release of Blizzard Entertainment’s video game Overwatch (OW) in 2016, Lengyel transitioned to mostly playing Blizzard and changed again his alias to xQcOW. That same year, Felix joined an Overwatch E-Sports team and played as a tank for teams such as DatZit Gaming. In addition, DatZit Gaming won the Dreamhack Montreal 2016 Overwatch tournament.
In the following year, Dallas Fuel of the Overwatch League announced that Félix would be joining their roster. Lengyel also played for Team Canada in their 2017 Overwatch World Cup campaign. He and the team reached the finals of the tournament, before being defeated by defending champions, South Korea. Despite losing the finals, Lengyel was named the event’s most valuable player. Besides that, he has caused multiple controversies and was ultimately released from Dallas Fuel on March 2018.

Additionally, Felix has worked with several Overwatch teams and participated in the 2018 and 2019 Overwatch World Cups as a member of Team Canada. In the next year, xQc began to play chess on stream and participated in the first edition of PogChamps, a chess tournament created by Twitch and Chess.com. At the end of 2019, his channel had over 35,000 subscribers making him one of the most-watched Twitch streamers that year.
Currently, he is signed to Luminosity and Sentinels Gaming. Although he has been temporarily banned multiple times on the platform, he was the most-watched streamer on Twitch in both 2020 and 2021.
