Zach Woods is an American actor and comedian. He is popular for his roles in series like The Office as Gabe Lewis, as Jared Dunn on the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley, as Zach Harper on the USA Network sitcom Playing House, and as Matt Spencer in Avenue 5. In addition, Wood was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, United States.
He attended Pennsbury High School and later enrolled himself at New York University where he graduated from. At the age of 16, Zach attended the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre where he learned the skill and experience of acting. He was also a member of the improvisational sketch troupe “The Stepfathers”. Moreover, Wood has taught improv at Columbia University, Duke University, and Lincoln Center.
Zach made his first film appearance in movies like In the Loop, The Other Guys, and College Humor skits “Adam and Eve in the Friend Zone” In 2010, he appeared in the Starburst candy commercial as a zombie. Zach becomes recognized after appearing in the YouTube video series The Most Awkward Boy in the World. That same year, he also starred as Gabe Lewis on the NBC sitcom The Office. In five years, he was featured on the HBO Silicon Valley as Jared.
