Spencer Blake is an American anchor and reporter serving at 3TV and CBS 5. He joined the Arizona family in March 2018. He joined Phoenix from KRON 4 News in San Francisco, where he worked as a one-man-band reporter.

Blake has been part of the Arizona Family since March 2018. During his service, he interviewed governors and prophets. He was in MLB dugouts and NFL locker rooms, though, and he spoke one-on-one with Hall-of-Famers and entertainers. While in Arizona, Spencer was part of a live coverage team during President Donald Trump’s visit to Mesa.
Although working as a one-man-band reporter for KRON 4 News in San Francisco, Spencer spent several weeks doing live updates from a major wine country wildfire in Sonoma and Napa Counties in 2017. He traveled to the Las Vegas Strip to cover the 2017 shooting massacre and found vital details about the deadly Oakland warehouse fire that killed more than 30 people in 2016. But he also filmed chaos and abuse in the streets of Berkeley during numerous demonstrations there.
Prior to that, Spencer anchored Good Morning Idaho at KIVI-TV in Boise for 5 years. Blake was nominated for an Emmy as anchor/producer of the show in 2012. However, he began his TV news career at KAUZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Wichita Falls, Texas where he was a reporter and morning anchor.
He came to Phoenix from KRON 4 News in San Francisco, where he was a one-man-band reporter. Spencer graduated from Brigham Young University with Magna Cum Laude. It was Spencer’s passion for people that made him interested in journalism.
Blakes enjoy outdoor activities, watching, and playing flashlight tags before bedtime. It’s not rare for Spencer and his family to sing loudly to songs from The Greatest Showman’ in the car or at home. Often it’s going to turn into dancing.
