Bill joined KPRC 2 News in May 2013 from WXYZ-TV in Detroit. At WXYZ-TV, he worked for 16 years as the Chief Consumer-Investigative Reporter while running The Call Bill For Action Team. TCBFAT was a tough consumer interest franchise that assisted over 7,000 metro Detroiters every year get their money back from crooked contractors, powerful utility companies, rip-off auto mechanics, and anyone else abusing consumers.
Before joining WXYZ, Bill also worked at KNXV in Phoenix, KLAS in Las Vegas, KTUL in Tulsa, WMUR in Manchester, KOSA in Midland_Odessa, Texas, and KMID in Midland, Texas.
At KPRC, the NBC affiliate station, Spencer is a member of the station’s investigative team.
