AJ Colby Biography
AJ Colby is an American meteorologist who currently works as a weatherman at FOX8 in Cleveland, Ohio, the United States. Colby grew up in the legendary “Snowbelt” and knew from a very tender age that he wanted to become a meteorologist. He had an incredible opportunity to begin his career as a television weathercaster when he was just 16 years at WSEE-TV in Erie, the local CBS affiliate.
Following his education, he attended The Ohio State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in “Arts and Sciences. After graduating, he landed his first full-time job at WICU-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania, the local NBC affiliate.
Later on, he began working full-time in Cleveland and is now honored to serve as a staff meteorologist at WJW FOX 8 in the spring of 2000. His being hired here was an amazing and in many ways unprecedented opportunity for a 19-year-old college student.
Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards and nominations. He was honored to fill in on many of the Newscenter 8 newscasts, having the extraordinary opportunity to work with legendary Dick Goddard, Robin Swoboda, Tim Taylor, Wilma Smith, and Andre Bernier.
