Kalee Dionne Biography
Kalee Dionne is an American meteorologist who is currently working for WFAA in Dallas, Texas, the United States as a weather anchor and reporter. Prior to joining WFAA, Dionne worked as a meteorologist at NBC5 Chicago and Action News in Kansas City, Missouri.
Following her education, she attended Herscher High School. It was after high school that she attended Lincoln College where she studied Musical Theater in 2005. She then attended Southern Illinois University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Broadcasting. In 2008, she decided to fathom her knowledge by attending Mississippi State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Meteorology.
Following her graduation, she worked for WCIA-TV where she spent 2 years serving as a weather forecaster. In addition, she worked at WSIL, WSILTV3, WSL-TV, as well as WSIU-TV.
Dionne was selected at the 2011 National Weather Association Conference regarding Social Media and its effectiveness throughout the Deep South Outbreak on April 27, 2011. During this same year, a strong line of tornados destroyed the state of Alabama. This was a super-tornado outbreak that was one of the largest in the US to go down in history. In this period, she worked at WIAT-TV as a morning meteorologist.

In 2016, she joined NBC 5 Chicago where she served as a weekend morning meteorologist. During her stay there, Donnie covered CNBC Hurricane Irma Coverage and CNBC Squawk Alley Hurricane Irma Coverage. However, she left the station in December 2019 to join WFAA in Dallas, Texas, the United States. Currently, Donnie works at WFAA as a weather anchor and reporter since joining the station in December 2019.
