Alessandro Nivola is an American actor and producer who runs King Bee Productions which made two seasons of the HBO comedy Doll & Em and To Dust. Throughout his career, he has been nominated and awarded numerous awards. He has been nominated for the Tony Awards, Independent Spirit Award, Screen Actors Award, British Independent Film Award, and Best Actor Award.
Born in Boston Massachusetts, he attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Yale University. When his family was living in Burlington, he attended Master Christi School. At Yale University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1994.
Immediately after graduating, he made his Broadway debut opposite Helen Mirren in A Month in the Country. For his breakthrough, Nivola landed a performance in John Woo’s feature film Face/Off playing Nicolas Cage’s brother Pollux Troy.
After this role, he continued landing roles in many movie and Tv roles. Most recently, it was announced that he was cast in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter film, set for release on January 13, 2023. According to our sources, he will play the film’s antagonist.
