Alex Rose Biography
Alex Rose is an American multimedia journalist who is currently working as a digital anchor at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. since joining the station in March 2021.
Rose attended Elon University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast and New Media, Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management in 2014. While still at university, he worked at Zinc. TV as a research analyst for three summers as an intern.
In addition, he was a News Intern at WXII-TV. While there, he wrote scripts, edited voiceovers, edited and transcribed interviews, and conducted interviews. However, he left the station in August 2013 after working for 4 months.
Rose was a vice president of the Society of Professional Journalists. He worked from April 2013 to May 2014. He was also a production manager at Elon in the Morning from April 2013 to May 2014 still at Elon University.
After graduating, he worked as FOX 44/ ABC 22 Multi-Media Journalist for a period of 2 years and one month. While there he was enterprising local news that matters to the community, filming and editing compelling stories for multiple platforms.
He was also a statehouse reporter and fill-in anchor at Local 22 & 44 News. In addition, he was a chief political correspondent for Local 22 (ABC) and Local 44 (Fox) News. Rose also traveled around Vermont reporting on all issues and how they are being addressed in the Legislature.
However, In June 2016, he left the station to join WGHP as a Multimedia Journalist and a fill-in anchor. He worked there for a period of 2 years and left the station in May 2018. He then joined KDVR-FOX31 Denver in June 2018 but left the station in March 2021. Currently, he works at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. since joining the station in March of 2021.
