Danielle Church is a multi-skilled American journalist and weekend daybreak producer at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York. She was born in Delaware but grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Danielle attended DePaul University in Chicago, where she was involved in the student newspaper, broadcast station, SPJ, and the Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence.
During her time in Chicago, Danielle also interned at Chicago’s very own WGN. After her graduation, Church spent two and half years as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor and producer for KVRR-TV in Fargo, North Dakota.
In Fargo, Danielle covered several major stories including the case of kidnapping and murder of a 22-year old pregnant woman, and President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence’s visit to Fargo. In addition, she covered one of the closest watch Senate races in the country between Kevin Cramer and Heidi Heitkamp.
Danielle won an AP award for a piece she did on human trafficking in the Red River Valley. Some of her notable stories include a 32-year-old woman with cerebral palsy who created a commercial for Apple, an Amish man who ran away from Wisconsin to North Dakota as a teen, and meeting a bunch of amazing veterans and getting to tell their stories after an honor flight to Washington, D.C.
