Allison Rogers is a well-known American journalist who is currently employed as a meteorologist at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Rogers previously worked for CBS affiliate WYMT-TV in Hazard, Kentucky, as a broadcast meteorologist and reporter.
She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2015 with a degree in Geoscience. Before joining WLWT-TV, Allison worked as a meteorologist and news reporter for WYMT-TV, a CBS affiliate in Hazard, Kentucky. Erik Zarnitz, who departed the station in September 2017, was replaced as a weekend meteorologist by her.
Her experience covering extreme weather in both the studio and the outdoors made her the strongest candidate for joining the WLWT Weather team.
Rogers, who grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, decided to pursue a career in meteorology after witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This occurred just after Hurricane Katrina devastated her hometown of Long Beach, Mississippi.
