Amber Laign is an American Massage therapist and an entrepreneur who rose to fame as the partner and wife of accomplished Good Morning America news anchor Robin Roberts. Roberts currently hosts ABC’s GMA and appears on American TV’s Jeopardy. She is the first-ever woman of color and LGBTQ woman to host the show Jeopardy. Roberts and Amber met in early 2005 and began a romantic relationship. Eventually, they got married through a civil wedding ceremony.
Laign was born and brought up in a northern suburban neighborhood of California. She also spent time living in New Jersey before her parents finally settled in California.
