Andie Judson Biography
Andie Judson is an American Multi-Skilled Journalist at ABC10 in Sacramento California. She specializes in deep-dive/investigative reporting and special projects for the ABC10 Originals Team. She joined the station in February 2020.
Judson is a seventh-generation Californian and is elated to be covering stories people care about in the heart of California. Andie was raised in San Luis Obispo, the Sacramento area became a second home to her as she grew up spending summers and holidays here as her grandparents lived in Davis and extended family lives in the Sacramento part.
Regarding her education, Andie went to San Luis Obispo High School where she received her high school diploma in 2010. In 2021, she joined Cuesta College where she studied Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Humanities. In addition, Judson enrolled at California State University – Long Beach in 2014 where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Electronic Arts, specialty in Broadcast Productions. Similarly, in 2018, Andie joined Georgetown University.
Andie’s career kicked off in Atlanta and Los Angeles interning and researching for CNN and NBC News. Her aspiration to experience local journalism took her to WCNC in Charlotte, where she fine-tuned her ability for seeking out and telling important stories within the community.
In addition, Judson’s interest in long-form documentary-style storytelling took her to Washington, D.C., to report and produce these kinds of stories for all stations under TEGNA, the parent company of ABC.

Furthermore, Andie’s reporting has been honored with various awards. Judson has won two Emmy including for “Investigative Report,” five Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas’ Original Web Reporting Award. Similarly, she has also been nominated six times for the Emmy Awards.
California has always been home to Judson, so she was over excited to join the ABC10 Originals team in February of 2020 and continue her reporting in the Golden State. Additionally, she terms every individual’s story she’s in a position to report as an honor. When given this opportunity, she puts her heart and soul into it.
In her spare time, Judson enjoys exploring her community with her dog, hiking, volunteering, as well as finding out local restaurant gems and live music spots.
