Anthony Antoine Biography
Anthony Antoine is a three-time Emmy award-winning journalist currently working as a morning news anchor for NBC 12 News. Prior to joining NBC News, Antony worked for WCIA as a morning news anchor.
Antoine was born in Trinidad and Tobago but later migrated to the United States at the age of ten along with his family. Since then, New Jersey has been his home. He then attended Saint Antony High School.
He attended Bowling Green State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a minor in ethnic studies in 2009. While in college, he interned at CBS in Los Angeles, California working on shows like Entertainment Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy.
From September 2013 to January 2015, Antoine worked as a general assignment reporter for CBS (WCIA) and later worked as a weekend anchor. In September 2015, he assumed a new role as the station’s morning news anchor. In June 2018, he left the station to join WWBT NBC12 News. Prior to starting his journalism career, Antony worked as a sales representative for Cintas between 2010 and 2012.
Currently, Anthony is the morning news anchor for NBC12 News since 2018.
