Anthony Ponce is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and anchor in Chicago, Illinois as a news anchor and reporter and co-anchors Good Day Chicago at Fox 32 News since March 2018. Prior to joining the station, he worked as a Lyft driver and had launched a podcast named Backseat Rider.
He launched the Backseat Rider as a news segment at Fox 32 News. Prior to becoming a Lyft driver, he worked at an NBC television station in Chicago, where he served as a reporter and anchor. In addition, she has spent many years as a news reporter in Indiana and says that his goal as a reporter is to remind the people of Chicago’s diversity.
