Arisa Cox Biography
Arisa Cox is a famous Canadian television and radio personality for hosting the biggest reality show in Canada called Big Brother Canada. Cox also works for the morning radio show on 91.7 The Bounce called Arisa and Ara. Prior, she was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, she worked for CBS Network as an entertainment reporter.
She completed her high school education at Earl Haig before proceeding to Carleton University. While there at University, Arisa graduated with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Journalism and a Minor in Film Studies from Claude Watson School For the Arts. Soon after graduation, she started her career as a journalist as an On-Air Reporter for CTV Ottawa. After that, Cox moved to A-Channel Ottawa, where she served as a weather reporter, creative producer, and entertainment. Later on, she left the network to work as an entertainment reporter for the A-List and The Gill Deacon Show
Aside from her journalism career, Arisa is also an actress who has appeared in films like Instant Star, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, The Smart Woman Survival Guide, and the CBC mini-series Guns. Moreover, she has worked for CBS Network as an entertainment reporter. Besides that, from 2007 to 2009, Cox co-hosted the entertainment news magazine E! News Weekend.
Cox joined the Big Brother Canada Show( BBCAN) in January 2013, as a host during the show’s first season. The series started airing in February of that year. That same year, she also became the co-host of The Morning Show on CHBN-FM In Alberta. After 7 years of working as the host of the show, Cox was promoted to Executive Producer of Season 9. For her diligent work, she has received three Canadian Screen Awards for Best Host nominations and two Audience Choice nominations. In addition to that, Arisa has also been featured as Brock St. Regis in the TV movie Christmas With a View. Prior to this, she also began hosting the morning show together with Ara at The Bounce.
