Bhavish Aggarwal is an Indian entrepreneur and co-founder of Ola Cabs and Ola Electric. He is one of the youngest and most influential Indian entrepreneurs. Aggarwal was featured on the 30 under 30 list of Forbes India in 2014 as well as a pioneer on the 100 Most influential people in the World in 2018 by TIME magazine.
He was born and grew up in Ludhiana City, Punjab in a Punjabi family. He completed his primary and secondary education at a local school in his hometown. Later on, Aggarwal furthered his study at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. Soon after that, he began his career as a research intern for Microsoft Research India.
In 2011, Bhavish co-founded Ola Cabs with Ankit Bhati in Bengaluru. The company has become the largest network of personal transportation options within India.
