Bianca Belair born Bianca Nicole Blair Crawford is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where she works under the ring name Bianca Belair on the Raw brand. She is the current Raw Women’s Champion in her first reign. In addition, she was the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match champion.

Bianca went to Austin East Magnet High School in her hometown, Knoxville, Tennessee, where she participated in and flourished in sports such as tracking. She attended Southern California University and, later, Texas A&M University. Bianca completed her studies at the University of Tennessee, where she was named SEC’s Academic Honor in 2011 and 2012.

She won a female battle royal on the January 15, 2020 episode of NXT to win an NXT Women’s Championship match against Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland. Bianca won the Royal Rumble match at Royal Rumble on January 31, eventually eliminating Rhea Ripley, becoming the second-ever African American Superstar to accomplish this feat in WWE history, after The Rock.  She was in the match for over 56 minutes, a record for a participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, having entered at #3.

Bianca also faced Sasha Banks for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 37, making them the first Black women to lead the event. Belair defeated Banks to capture the Smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, becoming the first woman to accomplish so in her career.

She defended the title against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash and the Hell in a Cell Match later on. Bianca was supposed to defend her championship against Sasha Banks at SummerSlam. However, WWE announced during the event that Banks was unable to compete and would be replaced by Carmella. Becky Lynch, who had returned to fight Belair for the title, attacked Carmella. Belair accepted and lost the match in half a minute after two moves by Lynch. Thus Becky won the title ending her reign at 133 days.

Furthermore, in what was intended to be their SummerSlam rematch at Extreme Rules, Bianca defeated Lynch by disqualification. This is due to interference by a returning Sasha Banks, denying her the title.

Belair was drafted to the Raw brand as part of the 2021 Draft. In a triple threat match against champion Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks at Crown Jewel, she was unable to reclaim the Smackdown Women’s title.

Bianca entered WWE prospects after the premature end of her CrossFit career, where she gave out her information. Veteran Mark Henry emailed her to WWE, saying that after reading her profile on CrossFit, he will get her a tryout. In addition, she signed a deal with WWE after two official trials on April 12th, 2016, her first appearance on June 25 at an In-ring segment, and her debut at NXT in September where she defeated Aliyah.

Moreover, she defeated Lacey Evans, Mia Yim, and Io Shirai and won a Fatal Four Way in December, becoming the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Belair lost to Shayna Baszler’s NXT TakeOver on January 26. In the next few months, she continued to work as a tweener and was among the women who would participate in the NXT Women’s Championship Fatal Four-Way match.

Belair also competed in the Royal Rumble in 2022, where he was ranked #8 and lasted 47 minutes before being eliminated by Charlotte Flair. Belair won the Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 19. She became the number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, reigniting her feud with Lynch. Becky Lynch arrived on the March 28 episode of Raw and attempted to cut Belair’s hair with a pair of scissors in retaliation for being scarred by a ponytail whip from Belair. Belair, on the other hand, assaulted Lynch with a KOD and cut off her hair.
