Billy Porter is an American singer, actor, songwriter, playwright, director, and vocal coach. He is famous for winning the Grammy award for the Best Musical Theatre Album for Kinky Boots in 2014.
As an American Broadway theatre performer, Porter got the Musical Theatre skills at Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School’s School of Drama and also Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama where he graduated with a B.F.A in Drama. Billy also got a certificate from the graduate-level professional program in Screenwriting at the University of California.
