Kristen Hampton is an American anchor and news reporter currently working as the host of WBTV. She is best known as the host of WBTV’s ‘The Good News. Hampton started her career as a studio camera operator at WAGT at the age of 18. She then quickly worked her way into the newsroom as a reporter. In 2003, she landed at WBTV for what she calls, “The best job in the world”.
Kristen had a passion for news from an early age. She was a studio guest during a live newscast in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia. When the show opened, Hampton was excited and knew that her career in the news was coming to reality.

Moreover, there was a two-centimeter mass on Kristen’s left breast, raising the possibility of cancer cells from the mammogram. It was then removed safely.
