Bobby Swofford is an American journalist who worked as sports director at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Currently, he is an assistant executive director at Arkansas High School Activities Association since April 2022. Prior to joining Arkansas High School Activities Association, he was a Media Specialist & Business Development personality at Mascot Media.
Swofford joined KFSM-TV on September 12 as a sports anchor and reporter. After a few years at the station, he was promoted to Sports Director in July 2015. As a sports director, he was responsible for coordinating with sports staff the daily schedule while covering the Arkansas Razorback. he also produced and anchored the 6 and 10 pm sports segments. However, in August 2020, he left the station.
Prior to joining 5NEWS, he worked as an on-air host at Fort Smith Radio Group. He worked here from August 2013 to July 2015. Following his formal credentials, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass and Media Studies from the University of Central Arkansas.
