Brooke Katz Biography
Brooke Katz is a well-known American journalist, anchor, and reporter who currently works for CBS 11 in Dallas, Texas as a weekend anchor and reporter. Katz worked at DFW in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an evening and late news anchor before joining CBS 11. Katz is also a great supporter of The Children’s Tumor Foundation, a non-profit that is pioneering research for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder.
Brooke began her journalism career as a Sales Development Coordinator for WCBD-TV in 2007. However, beginning July 2008, she was promoted to the position of a news reporter and producer, a position she held until November 2010.
Afterward, Katz left the station to join WHAS-TV as a news anchor, traffic reporter as well as a general assignment reporter. At the station, she served as the anchor for Good Morning Kentuckiana at 4.30 a.m. and noon. Similarly, she filled in as a traffic anchor for the 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. updates.
In May 2015, Brooke joined WCNC-TV, working as a news anchor for the 4.30 a.m. and noon updates. In addition, he updated the 5 a.m.-7 a.m. traffic reports. Later in March 2017, she took over as the Noon and 4 p.m. news anchor.
Besides her journalism career, Katz is also an aerobics trainer. She has been teaching the sport since she was 17 years old. Moreover, Brooke has 4 years of working experience working as a personal trainer at the East Shore Athletic Club.
