During her first audition, Brynn impressed the judges and audience with a special ventriloquist act featuring a mind-reading magic performance that she delivered impressively well. On May 30, 2023, America’s Got Talent kicked off its first episode of the eighteenth season of the show on NBC. The show featured incredible acts such as the Mzanzi choir who were among the first golden buzzer acts and other incredible talents. During the show’s second week, Cummings showed up with a Pink Sunk Like a Puppet in hand ready to perform.
Judge Sofia Vergara asked her what inspired her to join AGT as a contestant. She revealed that Darci Lynne the winner of AGT season 12 was the one who inspired her to participate in this year’s AGT season 18 competition. Brynn’s incredible response prompted a reaction from Judge Simon Cowell who confirmed that Darci Lynn’s golden buzzer was the best Golden Buzzer in the history of America’s Got Talent.
