Camille Keaton is an American actress and model well recognized for playing Jennifer Hills in a 1978 film called Spit on Your Grave. She also gained fame for making her acting debut back in Italy by playing Solange Beauregard’s role in What Have You Done Solange? in 1972. Camille even played her Jennifer Hills role in another film known as I Spit on Your Grave, Deja Vu released back in 2019. Her other famous roles are in TV shows and films like Blood River (2013), Death House (2017) and Terror in Woods Creek (2017).
Keaton was born and raised in the suburbs of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She finished her middle school studies at Eudora, Arakanasa back in early 1960. From there, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her family and finished her high school studies in Atlanta. Keaton then moved to Italy to pursue a full-time career as an actor and performer. Before moving to Italy, she even spent time working as an air hostess for Amtrak Airlines.
Camille began her career as an actor by being signed under a talent agency based initially back in 1971. Her breakout role as an upcoming actress at that time was playing Solange in What Have You Done to Solange? The movie was directed and produced by a famous 1960s Italy producer known as Massimo Dallamno. From there, she landed more supportive and main roles in other films and Tv shows like Tragic Ceremony (1972).
Keaton even headlined the cover of an Italian Magazine called Play Men the same year. In 1975, Keaton decided to return to the United States. She made her first move in the Hollywood scene by playing the role of a rape victim known as Jennifer Hills on I Spit On Your Grave (1978). This particular role earned Camillie some attention from the companies and directors. She was able to appear in more tv shows and films like The Lords’s Salem, Chop, and The Butterfly Room.
