Casey Stegall Biography
Casey Stegall is an American journalist who is currently working as a correspondent for Fox News Channel. He is responsible for covering news from the southwest portion of the United States. Prior to that, Stegall was based in the network’s Los Angeles bureau, where he served for more than five years while covering the western portion of the country.
His career kicked off as a reporter in his hometown, where he worked for WTVW-TV and FOX 7. He traveled in 2007 to Israel to work out the FOX News Jerusalem bureau. He joined FOX News after working as a general assignment morning reporter at KDFW-TV, FOX 4, and prior to that, he was a city hall reporter at KVUE-TV, ABC 24.
Being an Indiana native, Stegall attended Ball State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications. He also minored in German. Based in FOX’s Dallas bureau, Casey is responsible for covering the southwest portion of the United States. Prior to that, he was based in Los Angeles where he worked for more than five years.
While in Dallas, he won a regional Emmy award for his live reporting skills. The Dallas Press Club also recognized him for his breaking news coverage. Furthermore, during his time in Austin, the Associated Press and Headliners Foundation named him the best reporter in Texas. He also won an Edward R. Murrow Award for news excellence while working for ABC in Austin.
